Kayvan Abbassi was born in March 1971 in Sydney, Australia. Kayvan spent his childhood due to his father’s career Fariborz Abbasi,in Australia. His father had gone for ninth anniversary in September 1970 to celebrate the opening of the Baha’i House of Worship in Sydney, with others around the world and there became familiar with James Bryan, who was at the time in charge of Radio Australia and Worked as producer on Radio Australia. Tahmineh Barzegar Kayvan’s mother was working in embassy of Iran in Canberra.

Kayvan Abbassi spent his elementary levels at an Australia Iranian Baha’I’s school in Sydney. His father was working in an Australian media until 1981, with experiences which he had gained in the field and due to Behrouz Abbassi Voice of America’s Persian service operators supports cousin of Faribourz, he came to the United States and start working in the Persian service of Voice of America

His father’s activity at the Voice of America caused to spend his youth in Washington DC and his education as an undergraduate degree in business at the University of New England in Maine State. Difficult conditions of life in America and weak economy of his father cause to grow up diligent.

Ben-Gurion University Scholarship (אוניברסיטת בן גוריון בנגב)in Beersheba, Israel which given ever year to Iranian born Baha’i and encouraging of Sirous Barzegar his uncle which had gone to Israel along with the events of 1978, led Kayvan to go to the Israel and continue his studies.
Kayvan became acquainted with Marjan Eskandari daughter F. Eskandari during his studies and led him to propose marriage to Marjan in 2001 and he get married to her at presence of his family at the House of Worship in Haifa. Later Marjan Eskandari by asking his husband and according to Europeans custom changed her last name to his husband last name.

Kayvan Abbassi spent his higher education in Israel and he had been starting a new life. By offer of his father he came back to America and became as technical director of AZADI TV which was run by his father.After his activity in this channel he was offered to cooperate by Tapesh TV so he worked there for a while. Soon after his activity in these two channels and by facing problems caused closing these channels.

The activity of his father on Voice of America and Azadi TV, led Kayvan and his father to become familiar with many people including Reza Fazeli, Hasan Itemadi and other critics of the Iranian regime. Kayvan’s father in 2003 became familiar with Michael H. Klein, whom was a business partner of Hasan Itemadi for several years. Michael H. Klein was working at DARPA and was about to end of his mission at his job and he was thinking for a businessman for the years after his job. Became familiar with Fariborz and Kayvan Abbassi caused Fariborz and cooperation of his son and investment of Michael H. Klein buy Ten Broadcasting Company in 2003 and launch TV Hustler in Canada by management of Kayvan.

Bebin tv was established with investment of Michael and Management of Kayvan in July 2006.

Internet TV of Bebin tv could attract many viewers. He gathering the Iranian talented youth and using Hassan Etemadi’s idea produced different program since each clip to Bebin TV daily had about 20,000 views. But as soon as the site of Bebin TV is blocked by the Iranian government in 2008 the only way to Iranian people were out of reach Iranian users despite growing group Kayvan Abbassi, Bebin Tv failed to grow.

Kayvan wife offered him to meet members of the Raham Harooni Iranian Jewish organizations in London who was a relative of Marjan. He went to London to negotiate with them to support his bussiness.

Also being relative with B. Abbasi (father’s cousin), who worked at the Voice of America’s Persian service and Hasane Etemadi, the uncle’s son of Yasmine Etemad Amini who was a member of Association of Iranian Baha’is of the United States doubled Kayvan’s hope to the future.
Kayvan Abbassi ideas and slogans about television, was much appreciated by them. This talks and meetings with Fariborz and Behrooz Abbasi and Hasan Etemadi caused to offer to launch a new television network by Kayvan.

Bebin TV’s performance in four years, Hustler TV and Kayvan’s ideology in annual meetings of Persian-language media reports in London, could provide financial resources which needed to be covered at this TV by private companies. So he established a television in London in 2009.

In gratitude of Haroony and by agreeing of his father establish this channel after his wife’s name and broadcast Manoto channel by 2010.

The successful operation of broadcasting and ideologists of Manoto TV and by attracting more audiences, many in the government and private investors are attracted in London to this channel. But Kayvan and board of directors of this TV especially his father did not want TV which was set up by a group of young men to be supported by government refused offer of governmental investors. As result they accepted the offer of $ 55 million Robert Mogher Balyuzy, son of Hasan Mogher Balyuzy guy who was considered a private investor, Marjan television company went to a new level of professionalism and became more professional than before.
